We offer a range of coatings and tints to better match your lifestyle and use. All of our lenses come with a basic anti-scratch coating at no extra charge. We also offer anti-glare lens coatings and transition tints.

Anti-scratch Coating

You can upgrade to a premium anti-scratch coating which provides superior protection against scratches.  It is especially recommended for people who are rough with their glasses.

Anti-glare Coating

An anti-glare coating decreases the reflections off of lenses. Advantages include less reflection from lights including computer screens and car headlights which may decrease eye fatigue. Glasses with an anti-glare coating also make the eyes of the wearer more visible so it is aesthetically more appealing. It includes a better anti-scratch coating automatically. It is recommended especially for patients who are bothered by glare and want their glasses to be aesthetically appealing.

Transition Lenses

Transition lenses contain photochromic dyes that cause the lenses to turn dark when exposed to ultraviolet light from the sun. Advantages include 100 % UV protection and you have built in sunglasses when you need them. However, they don’t turn dark inside a vehicle and take at least 4 minutes to turn clear when returning indoors. 

Warranty on Lenses

The warranty on the frames and lenses is at least 1 year normal wear and tear.
